Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to support the financial operations of our travel agency. The officer will assist with accounting, record-keeping, billing, and daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates looking to develop a career in finance within the travel and tourism sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in recording daily financial transactions, including receipts, payments, and travel-related expenses.
2. Support senior finance staff in preparing invoices, reconciliations, and reports.
3. Maintain accurate financial records for clients, suppliers, and internal accounts.
4. Assist in budget tracking for agency operations, tours, and travel packages.
5. Ensure timely processing of payments to airlines, hotels, and service providers.
6. Support the finance team in auditing, compliance, and documentation as required.

Qualifications

1. Diploma or BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
2. 0–1 year experience in finance or accounting (fresh graduates encouraged).
3. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
4. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is an advantage.
5. Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and integrity.
