AddisFly - Daily Work Report & Overtime
Your Daily Work Report
Your report is created for you when you check in. You do not start from a blank page — it already lists the tasks from your Job Scorecard that are due today.
There are two parts. The first you fill in at the end of your shift. The second only exists if you worked overtime.
Part 1 — Close out your day
Do this before you check out. It takes a few minutes.
- Open Daily Work Report from the sidebar, or the link on your check-out screen. Today's report is already there.
- Go through Today's Routine Tasks. For each one set Status:
- Done — you finished it.
- Not Done — you did not get to it. That is allowed. Say why in What Was Produced.
- Blocked — something stopped you. Say what.
- Fill What Was Produced with the actual result — "19 tickets issued", "6 customers called, 2 paid". A number is better than a sentence.
- Write your Description of the day.
- Set your Self Rating.
- Click Submit.
Auto-Fetched Data fills itself in — bookings you created, invoices you raised, payments you recorded. You do not type those. They come straight from the system.
You cannot check out until the report is submitted. That has always been the rule and it has not changed.
Part 2 — If you worked overtime
Overtime is never required. If you did work past your shift, claim it on the same report — open the Overtime tab after you have submitted Part 1.
- Tick I worked overtime today.
- In What You Did After Hours, add a line for each piece of work:
- What You Did — the task.
- Type — pick one:
- Extra work — something beyond your normal day. Backlog, a rush, a project, covering for someone.
- Carry-over — regular work from today that did not fit into regular hours.
- Serves — which backlog, project or customer.
- What Was Produced — the result.
- Write a short Description of the Overtime.
- If any line is Carry-over, write one line in Why could the carried-over work not be done in regular hours? — "Queue was heavy all afternoon" is enough. It is not a problem; your manager just needs to see it.
- Click Submit.
Your Overtime Hours are filled in automatically from your check-in and check-out. Nothing you type changes your pay.
Questions people ask
Do I have to work overtime? No. Never. Leaving the overtime section empty simply means no overtime is claimed.
What happens if I don't fill it in? Nothing stops you leaving — you can always check out. But an unclaimed overtime section means no overtime request is raised, so those hours are not paid.
Is "Carry-over" a bad mark against me? No. Some days flood and work spills over — that is normal. It is recorded honestly rather than hidden, and one line explaining it is all that is asked.
My work is not in the ERP — spreadsheets, government portals, phone calls. Say so in What Was Produced. If you work in Google Sheets or Docs, share the file with the company account (view access is enough) and your edits are picked up automatically.
I forgot to close out yesterday. Tell your manager. Do not back-date — the report stamps the server time and will not accept it.
