Refund eligibility is determined by the fare rules of the airline that issued your ticket. AddisFly processes refund requests on your behalf but does not control airline refund timelines or amounts.

2. Refundable vs. Non-Refundable Tickets

  • Refundable tickets: Eligible for a full or partial refund as per the airline's fare rules. Processing time varies by airline (typically 7–30 business days).
  • Non-refundable tickets: Generally not eligible for a cash refund. Some airlines may offer a credit or voucher for future travel, minus applicable penalties.

3. AddisFly Service Fee

AddisFly may charge a non-refundable service/processing fee for handling refund requests. This fee covers administrative costs and is separate from any airline penalties.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact our support team through any of the following channels:

5. Refund Timeline

  • Once your refund is approved by the airline, it will be processed within 7–14 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (bank account, mobile money, etc.).
  • For credit card payments processed through third parties, refund timelines depend on your bank.

6. No-Show & Missed Flights

If you do not show up for your flight without prior cancellation, the airline's no-show policy applies. Most airlines forfeit the ticket value in no-show cases. AddisFly is not responsible for no-show losses.

7. Schedule Changes & Airline Cancellations

If an airline cancels your flight or makes a significant schedule change, you are typically entitled to a full refund or rebooking at no additional cost. AddisFly will assist you in claiming your refund from the airline.
