Job Opening: Junior Accountant

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the finance team in managing accounting and financial operations. The role involves handling invoices, payments, and reconciliations for walk-in customers, labor travel clients, non-IATA agents, and corporate accounts, while coordinating with airlines for ticket settlements and BSP/IATA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process and track invoices and payments for walk-in, labor, corporate, and non-IATA clients
2. Assist with airline ticket settlements, BSP remittances, and fare reconciliations
3. Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
4. Support month-end reporting and basic accounting analysis
5. Communicate with clients and airlines regarding billing queries and payment confirmations

Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2. Basic understanding of accounting principles and travel agency finance preferred
3. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
4. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
5. Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple client segments
